2012 Oceano CA Mid-Year Real Estate Market Update

 

There were fewer homes sold in Oceano CA during the first half of this year than 2011, a 15% drop in fact, in the number of homes sold.  Days on market stayed flat, short sales increased and foreclosure edged down slightly.  The big story in Oceano CA seems to be price.  Average list prices fell 25.3%, and average sales prices fell 25.1%.  Quite a drop. It could simply reflect more lower priced inventory selling overall, but still quite a drop and worthy of a remark.  I’m sure the end of the year Oceano CA real estate report will tell a more complete story.
